This school holidays feel a little different this year. Maybe don't have the plans we normally would; holidays are on hold, childcare juggling has become difficult and even just making sure everyone is fed a watered is a struggle for some of us. After week of trying the educate and entertain the little ones, we've all run out of ideas! Not to worry...
Families in Focus is a city wide project led by Bristol City Council that brings community organisations, charities, schools and others together to pool resources and share expertise. The document at the bottom of the page contains activities, Information and support for families, parents/carers and young people. There is lots to keep the family entertained and looked after during the holidays as well as lots of helpful information to help with the return to school in September.

SUMMER SUNDAY PLAY SESSIONS at Felix Road
We are running two 90 minute sessions every Sunday throughout the summer holidays. Sessions will start at 1pm and 3pm. Places are limited to 20 children per session (children must be accompanied by an adult, maximum of 2 adults per group). You can book on the sessions via Eventbrite, places released on our Facebook page each week on Tuesday at 7pm.
Children’s bike servicing at Felix Road Adventure Playground
Felix Road, Easton, BS5 0JW
Over the summer holidays, Life Cycle UK will be carrying out bike servicing through a drop-off and collection service at Felix Road. We will be able to take a maximum of 4 bikes a week. The service offers a basic safety check, tweaking and minor fixes; such as punctures, brake blocks and cables, gear adjustments. So please don’t bring us a wreck and children’s bikes only. Call Ollie on 07810 506980 to check availability. Bikes can be dropped off at the playground Sunday to Thursday between 3pm to 5pm and collected the following Tuesday.
Studio Meraki Art Kits
We are continuing to deliver 80 art kits to children and young people across Easton and Lawrence Hill all the way through to September. If you don't recieve an art kit, don't worry, you can find all the instructions and video tutorials online. Each week there is a different project, using basic art materials, things you can find around the home and things in your recycling. Studio Meraki Art Kits
Playday Bristol 2020, Wednesday 5 Aug
Playful Bristol are busy organising a different kind of Playday! Opportunityies for socially distranced play coming to green spaces near you. There will also be a specially collated booklet of play ideas.

Join Talo, Barton Hill Activity Club and Bristol Horn Youth Concern for some sports related fun in a park near you. Drop in sessions open to all ages. Every week of the summer holidays from 27 July to 30 August, 5pm to 7pm.
Bike Club, Bagga-bike scheme for 11 to 18 year olds
Every Thursday 2pm to 4pm

Fix up a bike in 6 hours, then it’s yours to take home. Starts Thursday 30 July.
Free food for youth, Bagga-bites
Friday evenings 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Baggator with BMCS and Super Supper Club have launched Bagga-bites. Free Friday night take-away meals for young people aged 12 to 18 year olds in BS5. Social distancing will be applied. Find out more
Healthy holiday recipes, The Children’s Kitchen
The Children’s Kitchen, a Feeding Bristol project, has produced a series of recipes and videos to inspire children to cook at home. There is also a shopping list for a £15 budget and links to websites and support around feeding children during the holidays. Find out more
Come and Play, St Werburghs City Farm
For children, young people and fmailies will little or no outdoor space and children with special needs. Up to 16 years old. Exclusive access will be available for small numbers per session, so drop them an email and book your place email@example.com
Out and About - Short breaks and activities for children and young people with additional needs
As part of Bristol City Council’s Short Breaks WECIL lead the Out and About project which provides a variety of activities for children and young people between the ages of 5-19. For information about these services see the Out and About leaflet
