University of Bristol - community research project

Project date
Tuesday, January 2, 2018 to Thursday, May 31, 2018

In 2018 we were commissioned by the public engagement team of the University of Bristol to conduct some research in Lawrence Hill and Easton to identify the important shops and services in the area which could be complemented by the new development.

We carried out interviews with residents and organisations to find out their hopes and fears for this flagship development in our neighbourhood.

The report is attached here and we presented the findings to the university in July and hosted a public meeting in November to share the report with the community.

Earlier in the year we hosted a one off workshop looking specifically at physical design features of the site and hearing resident's ideas about how to make the site feel welcoming and accessible. The report from this is found below.

We will continue to stay in communication with the university to make sure local people's voice is heard.
