We have been working with residents at Twinnell House and Wills Drive over the past two years on what would make their outside area a nicer place to play and enjoy for residents.
Parents proposed a small high-fenced ball games area at the foot of Twinnell House where parents can keep an eye on the children from nearby flats. It is hoped this would also reduce conflicts arising from ball games being played near front doors and cars, as well as free up the Wills Drive Play Area for younger children where parents can sit with them out of the wind.
We have been working with a resident group supported by Playing Out and architect George Lovesmith to draw up plans and work with Bristol City Council on what might be possible for the site.
