Railway Path public meeting

Post date 16 November 2017

If you wondered why a pair of xylophones and a giant chalk board appeared by the Railway Path last month, then read on... They were part of an Up Our Street experiment to look at ways of making this busy section of the path safer for all users. We had an amazing amount of feedback from pedestrians, cyclists, dog-walkers, buggy pushers and more. We would like to invite you to a public meeting to take forward some of the ideas raised.

Hosted by Up Our Street and Sustrans, this meeting aims to:

  • Share findings from recent research and engagement projects
  • Give clarity on next steps for the Railway Path
  • Agree the function and membership of a group to take work forward
  • Create the beginnings of a two year plan

Join us at City Academy on Wednesday 29 November, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. If you would like to find out more, or would like to be involved in a potential stewardship group, please contact Celia at Up Ours Street on 0117 954 2837 or email celia@upourstreet.org.uk.
