Have your say on Local Plan

Post date 24 April 2019

Affordable housing, taller buildings, protecting green space? Bristol's Local Plan is under review - it will shape where new housing and other developments are built for the next 20 years. Up Our Street is working with Barton Hill Settlement and local planning groups to host two public meetings, to allow you to have your say. These meetings are open to all residents in Easton and Lawrence Hill. A panel of council officers, local residents and community organisations will explain how the Local Plan will affect developments in our neighbourhood. You will have a chance to ask questions and give your feedback.

Focus on Temple Quarter and St Philips Marsh
Tuesday 30 April, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
St Philips Nursery School, Albert Crescent, BS2 0SU

Focus on Lawrence Hill roundabout area and Easton Way
Wednesday 1 May, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Barton Hill Settlement, 43 Ducie Road BS5 0AX

The Local Plan is a document by Bristol City Council which includes policies for deciding planning applications in Bristol. This will help shape where new housing and other developments are built in our neighbourhood and across Bristol, for the next 20 years. So it's important that local residents have a say.

The Local Plan review is open for comments until 24 May, you can read more about it on the Council website.
